There
are many statements, arts, and creative language written by Hmong
and other individuals about Hmong published in newspapers, magazines,
books, and other mediums. One of the most popular written language
is the Hmong RPA script, formed in the early 1950s. The original Hmong
RPA language is compostion in a single word to make of a sentence,
phrase, or communication. Today, many educators seem to have made
changes from its original by combining some words and their intent.

Statements
by Hmong and Other Individuals:
ONE:
A group of family relatives to Blong Yang, Editor of Future Hmong Magazine,
took a vacation to Thailand. Blong had put their report as an advice.
See if you agree. "Tips...' Bring Toilet Paper'... with the exception
of hotels, most places from restaurants to gas stations do not have
toilet paper. Although a water hose is provided in many restrooms, I
am sure those of us from America would much rather use toilet paper.
Yes, you have to carry a roll with you everywhere...expecially if you
are planning to eat a lot of spicy Thai foods. In case you forget, toilet
paper is sold for 2-5 baht for 2 pieces or squares. In America, that's
just enough toilet paper for us to blow our noses...not wipe."
(September 2002, page 17).
TWO: "Ib pluag mov
' vim thaum ub Hmoob khwv tau noj tau haus ntau thiab vam meej heev

Vwj, Nyob Zoo Txog Kwvtij Hmoob!, Hmongtimes, December 16,
2002).
