Noj Tsis Taus Yuav Tuag - Hais Tsis Taus Yuav Swb

Snyu Yang -Neeg Magazine - August 3, 2007 - Ib hlis ntuj 30, 2007 yog hnub so (Saturday) thaum 9 moo sawv ntxov, 4-5 lub Bus nres ntawm lub loog tsev kaw neeg nkag teb chaws txhaum cai. Cov poj niam me nyuam raug muab tav li ib co tsiaj mus rau saum Bus. Leej twg tawv cov cob nab thib Thaib lawg ncaws taws rau thiab ntsiab plaub hau luag ntsaws rau hauv Bus. Ua ntej cov poj niam me nyuam no, muaj 2 tug txiv neej uas tseem tab tom ntoog tus mob uas txhais moj tej hlais nkawv tej plhu pw tom tsev kho mob cov tub rog Nplog twb mus rho xov yas, xov dej, thiab yuam coj mus tsij rau saum Bus tag. 2 tug txiv neej no cov qhov kiav txhab ntshav paim zuj sis los. Nkees duas ntais yog thaum cov xaim yas tso ntshav tso dej hle tag.
Nyob rau hauv ib chav kaw uas yog muaj cov txiv neej lawv xauv qhov rooj thiab muab ntsia hlau liaj khov khov tseg tos. Thaum cov poj niam me nyuam nce Bus tag Thaib thiab Nplog mam cia li tav pab txiv neej no mus nce Bus xwb. Yog, noj tsis tau yuav tuag, hais tsis tau yuav swb, cov txiv neej no tawv xum tuag rau hauv chav kaw neeg thiab tuag ua ib ke ua dab neeg tseg ntawm Thaib txoj kev quab yuam. Cov cob nab thib Thaib thiab Nplog kuj yog sib zog tsoo qhov rooj, hem kev tuag ntau yam, hais kom lawv cia li tawm xwb yuav coj lawv mus rau qhov chaw thaj yeeb. Txhua yam twb yog tau sib tawm tsam nhyav thiab siv sij hawm yog 6 teev. Sib ntsuas zog ntev loo, Thaib tso ib co pa Gas ntawm tej qhov rais ncho li ntshawb nas mus rau cov txiv neej no. Tus qaug li cas twb muaj. Phem heev yog vim muaj ib co me nyuam pw thiab nyob nrog lawv txiv rau haud. Cov me nyuam no nraug cov pa Gas no nhyav. Tus ntuav los muaj, tus haw quav los pom, cov laus zog twb tag. Cov txiv neej no ib txhia nrog Thaib sib ntsuas zog ntawm qhov rooj ib txhia ntaus xov tooj tiaj lias rau tom United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees hauv Bangkok. Kev deb ntawm Nong Khai thiab Bangkok Thaib teb os. Cov cob nab thib UN thiaj xa lawv cov tswj nyob ze Nong Khai tuaj mus nrog Thaib thiab Nplog sib tham thiab faj txoj kev yuam cai ntiaj teb tag rau Thaib. Txhaum ib txog cai loj ua qab ntuj dav no leej twg los xav cia pov hwm nws. Thaib kuj txaj muag kawg thiab muab pab neeg 153 leeg no tso rov los nyob dua rau hauv tsev txim.
Rov muab cov poj niam me nyuam tom Bus los rau hauv lawv cov chaw nyob, muab ob tug txiv neej mob coj los pw rau nraum ib cha tsev khoob vu loj loj. Cov txiv neej tawv tuaj saum lawv chav ntsia twb pom nkawv pw zog ntaug tag, ntsej muag daj tseem tseg thiab qhov ncauj dub tas. Lawv pom nkawv cov tshav si luj laws rau hauv av. Nkawv ntsaj seev yees los kev cawm tsis khoob qhov twg los. Thaib muab cov txiv neej uas tawv Thaib no yoo mov tau 4 hnub 4 hmo. Cov cob nab thib Thaib nqa mov los tso rau nraum lub rooj hais kom cov txiv neej tawm los muab noj. Tab sis lub qhov rooj Thaib twb muab xauv nrua phoo tib si. Yuav tawm mus muab cov mov coj los noj yog txawj txia es txia ua ib tug me nyuam kab me me nkag mus khaws los xwb thiaj tau noj. Leej twg los leej twg tsis txawj txia.
Nyob USA txoj cai ntawm cov nom Bush Administration tsim hu ua Patriot Act uas tag nrho cov nom As Mes Kas pom zoo cia dhau los ua Cai twb dhau ua cai thaum xyoo 2002 lawm. Txoj cai no tam tau hais tias yog ib txog cai yuav txwv cov neeg Laib neeg Cu kom tuaj tsis txeem hauv lub teb chaws USA. Nyob rau hauv txoj cai no cov lus kuj yog teev tseg nthuav khwb dav heev. Thaum muab coj los txhais rau tej teeb meem twg ces twb yog sua zog Hmoob rau hauv txoj cai no lawm tib si. Muaj ib nqe lus nyob rau hauv txoj cai tham hais tias yog leej twg txawm tsis yog tus neeg phem uas tsim qhov teeb meem tab sis nws tau pab txhawb (piv txwv li tau pub ib qho mov me me rau tus neeg phem no noj lawm xwb) tus neeg no puav leej sua zog mus ua tus neeg Laib neeg Cu no (Material Support). Tsis tau tag, txoj cai no sua ntxaws heev thiab. Tsis hais yuav yog cov teb chaws Tij Lij (ywj pheej) lov teb chaws Koom Sam (Kaus Mos Niv) yog leej twg tuav riam phom tsis nyiam lub tej chaws ntawv txoj cai ces tus ntawd sua zog ua ke rau hauv txoj cai Patriot Act no tib si. Thaum As Mes Kas txua ib txog cai, lawv cia li tsis nco qab txog Hmoob. Thaum lawv txoj cai dhau los ua cai, Hmoob yog lawv ib tug phooj ywg tab sis hauv txoj cai Hmoob yog As Mes Kas ib tug yeeb ncuab loj dua ntais.
Thaum txoj cai no tawm dhau los ua cai lawm, cov nom Nplog hauv lub teb chaws Nplog thiaj mam muab cov Hmoob Cob Fab lub npe Cob Fab maj nrawm nroo daws hu kiag ua ib co “Terrorists.” Thaum no As Mes Kas txoj cai twb yog haum raws nkaus Nplog lub siab xav. Zaum no cov Hmoob nyob pem hav zoov uas yog Hmoob Cob Fab thiaj cia li khiav ceev ceev los ua kiag ib co Terrorists - neeg Laib neeg Cu lawm. Puag thaum xyoo 2002 los txog ntua rau thaum 2004-2005 no txoj cai thiaj mam los ua ib tug kab mob loj dua ntais rau Hmoob. Vim thaum ntawd Hmoob tsis pom khav hais tias txoj cai twb tawm tuaj, tsis tau tag, txoj cai yuav kub lawv pob pw uas yog lawv ib tug me zoo zoo phooj ywg tsim los iab lawv lub siab. Thaum no yog noj tsis taus yuav tuag hais tsis tau yuav swb. Vim thaum no yog thaum Hmoob tus phooj ywg qhia qhov chaw tuag rau Hmoob tus yeeb ncuab Nplog ces kob teeb meem ntawm pab Hmoob Thoj Nam Neeg Tawg Rog (Hmong Refugee) 153 leeg hais saum toj no thiaj yog pab los nyiaj thiab ntoog lub vij sub (nthwv khaub thuas) no nhyav. Tam sis no pab neeg Thoj Nam Tawg Rog no yeej noj tsis taus lawv yuav tuag, yeej hais tsis taus li lawv yuav swb vim lawv lub suab hu tsis yog suab neeg tag lawm. Lawv yog ib co neeg raug txim, neeg nkag teb chaws txhaum cai, thiab lawv yog ib co neeg nrhiav noj rau ub nrhiav noj rau no xwb raws li Nplog thiab Thaib hais. Qab ntuj dav no yog muaj lawv lawm xwb ces lawv yuav tuag thiab yuav swb mus. Yog qab ntuj dav no tseem muaj Hmoob, noj tsis tau yuav tuag hais tsis tau yuav swb, leej twg yuav tau sawv qhov twg los hais seb Hmoob puas ciaj. Cov neeg thoj nam tawg rog puas ciaj (700 leej nyob Bangkok, 153 kaws nyob Nong Khai uas yog neeg thoj nam tawg rog -refugee status).
Hmoob cov neeg raug txoj kev tsim ntawm Thaib thiab Nplog tsis yog tib pab 153 leeg saum no xwb. 8,000 tawm leej cov nyob dej dawb, pab 163 leeg Thaib muab fais fab hlau xa rov mus rau hauv Nplog, pab 31 leeg txiv neej tawm tom hav zoov los muab xa rov qab tas rau tim Nplog uas yog pab ntoog lub khub mob no loj dua ntais. 2 tug ntawm pab 31 leeg no, Nplog muab ntaus tuag kiag lawm, cooj leej ntaus ntuav ntshav, thiab muab kaws txog hnub tuag rau hauv lub teb chaws Nplog. Cov no yog Hmoob thiab lawv yog cov sawv los ua dab neeg rau lawv tsoom Hmoob pom. Los rau thaum pib ntawm lub xyoo 2007 no xwb Hmoob txhua tus tau los nyiaj lub khub mob thiab txoj kev lim hiam uas yog lwm haiv neeg tsim Hmoob no loj dua ntais nyob hauv dab neeg Hmoob. Lawv tsis hais tus yuav nyob rau qhov twg, ntshe nws tsis paub thiab tsis hnov xwb, yog hnov yuav mob nws lub siab li lub rwj thiab lub aws ncu. Hauv lub qab ntuj - qab ntuj dav. Cov teeb meem Hmoob zaum no yog lwm haiv neeg ces tso rog sawv lawm vim yog Hmoob es kev nyiaj mob thiaj loog twj ywm rau hauv lawv lub siab lub plawv.
Txawm yuav ua mob loj npaum twg los yog noj tsis tau yuav tuag hais tsis tau yuav swb, ib hnub no yog lub caij hais lub caij noj lawm. Thaum lub 6 hlis tim 28, 2007 no, US Congressman Ed Perlmutter tom xeev Colorado thiab nws cov Co-Sponsor thiaj tsim dua ib tsab cai los kho txoj cai Patriot Act kom Hmoob txhob xyaw cov neeg Laib neeg Cu vim Hmoob muaj txiaj ntsim rau As Mes Kas. Txoj cai tshiab no yog H.R. 2940. Yog teb chaws dav hauv USA no muaj txhua txhia tus Hmoob hu xov tooj, sau ntawv, thiab quaj qw mus rau lawv txhua txhia tus Congressman, Senator, thiab lawv tus nom tej zaum tsab cai hais sau no yuav los cawm Hmoob ntawm lub khub mob loj hauv txoj cai Patriot Act. Tsis tau tag, cov kwv tij Hmoob uas tab tom nyob sawv daws lub txim tim Thaib yuav tau kev tawm mus ua neeg rau cov teb chaws vam meej (third world country). Nyob nyob ib txog cai tawm los yog leej twg tsis paub mus quaj qw rau nws yuav dhau tsis tau mus ua cai. Thaum txoj cai twg yuav tawm los, yog leej twg tsis mus quaj qw kom nhyav thiab mus sib ntsuas zog kom haum pab neeg ntawd thaum txoj cai dhau los ua cai tej zaum yuav tsis zoo sawv daws lub siab thiab. Hom phiaj dav ntawm tej cai txoj twg, vim hais tias hauv txoj cai H. R. 2940 no txawm yuav dhau los ua cai los cov ntsiab lus nyob rau hauv yuav tsis pab leej twg zoo zoo thiab cov nom leej twg thaum twg yuav xav muab rhuav tshem los tau. Tsis tas li xwb, txoj cai yuav kom cia seb thaum qhov teeb meem twg tawm los mam ntsuas raws li ib tug twg mus xwb. Dhau qhov no ces yuav tsum tau muaj 3 lub rooj tsev loj los mus pom zoo tag thiaj kam siv mus daws qhov teeb meem los puas dhau taus mus ua cai. Tej no twb yog teeb meem loj thaum cai tawm los ua cai tab sis tsis paub mus kho kom haum haiv neeg ntawd thaum pib. Ib qho tseem ceeb ntawm txoj cai no yog yuav los rho Hmoob tawm ntawm lub npe neeg Laib Neeg Cu thiab cia Hmoob muaj cai tuaj mus nkag teb chaws As Mes Kas (waiver). Hnub tim 30 lub 7 hli txog tim 2 lub 8 hli xyoo 2007 no, Yaj Cib thiab nws pab Delegation tuaj 4-5 lub xeev tuaj mus rau tom Washington DC thiab tau mus nrog cov Congressmen ib tug zuj zus sib tham caw kom lawv koom tes txhob txoj cai H. R. 2940 thiab rua qhov muag nrog xyuas qhov teeb meem no rau Hmoob. Vim Hmoob tsis yog cov neeg Laib neeg Cu uas sua rau hauv txoj cai Patriot Act tsim lawm.
Congressman Ed Perlmutter thiab nws cov Co-Sponsor ua nyob Colorado, California, Maryland, Minnesota, thiab Wisconsin los sawv daws yuav los txhob txoj cai no. Cov Congressmen uas nyob cov xeev hais saum no kuj los ntsib Yaj Cib thiab nws pab Delegation thiab cog lus tseg hais tias lawv yuav muab txoj cai no kho kom tau xwb xwb. Raws li cov nom tau cog lus mas lawv yuav ua kom tiav rau thaum lub 9 hlis ntuj xyoo 2007 no. Lawv hais tias tsim nyog yuav tau ua kom tiav sai tshaj tab sis vim lub 8 hli no cov congressmen, senators, thiab nom (executive Branch) yuav mus so tag (vacation). Yog li lawv thiaj npaj yuav ua kom tiav rau thaum thawj 1-2 vas thiv lub 9 hlis. Thaum cov congressmen no ntsib Yaj Cib lawv pab delegation, cov nom kuj tham me me hais tias txoj cai H. R. 2940 no mas tseem nyob rau ntawm House of Congress xwb tsis tau dhau ntawm House. Tsis tau tag, txoj cai no yuav tau npauv cov lus qhov me ntsis ntxiv mas thiaj yuav dhau ntaum House of Congress ces yog muab txoj cai no mus txuam nrog txoj H.R. 2764 uas twb dhau hauv cov congress tag lawm tej zaum yuav yooj yim dua. Vim txoj H.R. 2764 no cov senators thiab laj thab npas lawv yuav txhawb nqa yooj yim zog. Qhov tseem ceeb ces yuav tau muab cov ntsiab lus coj los kho kom yog cai Hmoob los puas Hmoob yuav tsum yog daim hom phiaj ntawm txoj cai. Noj tsis taus yuav tuag hais tsis taus yuav swb, zaum no lo, yog zaum Hmoob qab teb qaum teb yuav tau ua suab sawv tuaj mus hais. Cov kev leej twg yuav ua tau suab thiab nws lub suab yuav dhau mus cawm Hmoob ces yog hu xov tooj, sau ntawm, thiab taug kev ncaj qha kiag, nyias mus ntsib nyias tus Congressmen thiab Senator hauv nyias lub xeev. “Ib qhov tseem tseem ceeb uas kwv tij phooj ywg Hmoob yuav tau paub txog mas yog thaum koj los hais hauv koj lub xeev tawm tuaj, kuv los hais hauv kuv lub xeev tawm tuaj ces yuav cia li cuab lub zog loj loj thiab cia li sua zog mus ua tau ib lub suab, ib haiv neeg, thiab ib txog kev taug rau Hmoob rau tom Washington DC.” cov ntxhais Hmoob ua hauj lwm hauv HND thiab SEARAC tom Washington DC hais.
Cov ntxhais Hmoob no lawv kuj caw kom ib tsoom phooj ywg Hmoob uas xav paub txog tej kev cai tsim tshiab los puas cai dab tsi los xij hu xov tooj nrog lawv sib tham tej zaum yuav ua rau leej ntawd nkag siab thiab to taub zoo zoo ntxiv. Pib hnub no mus txog ntua thaum lub 9 hlis ntuj sawv daws yuav tau hu xov tooj, sau ntawv, thiab taug kev ncaj qha mus ntsib kiag nyias tus congressmen thiab senator hauv nyias lub xeev. Tsis tau tag, yog tom qab lub 9 hlis ntuj, leej twg tsis pom txoj cai no ua zog, leej twg yuav tau hu xov tooj thiab sau ntawv mus soj qab taug lw thiab. Nov yog noj tsis taus yuav tuag, hais tsis taus yuav swb. Teb chaws dav USA Hmoob leej twg yuav tau mus noj mus hais seb puas muaj yeej.
Yog tsis ua dab tsi kiag: Txoj cai cia li pw twj ywm - thaum leej twg xav hais nws mam rov nti nti dua xwb, cov Hmoob nyob Mes Kas yuav ev rawv lub npe Neeg Laib Neeg Cu (terrorism) no mus, cov Hmoob thoj nam tawg rog (refugee) tim Thaib teb yuav tsis tau kev tawm mus ua neeg rau qhov twg hauv lub qab ntuj dav no, 8,000 tawm leej Hmoob uas tsis tau muaj ntaub ntawv ua neeg tawg rog yuav raug xa mus nyo caj dab rau Nplog hlais ib tug zus, Nplog yuav tau zoo tua Hmoob mus tsawg tiam saum toj no ntxiv, thiab Hmoob cia li zoo yam nkaus tej tsiaj thaum leej twg xav noj tus twg ces leej twg tua tus ntawd noj. Ua dab tsi. Zoo.

Yuav Ntxias Lis Cas Rau Pab Yuav Ntxeev Nplog?
Maj Mam Soj, Ntxias Nce Nthab Mam Lauj Taw Ntaiv!

Tus sau: Snyu Yang, Neeg Magazine - June 23, 2007 -Nws yog thaum nrab 11 hlis ntuj, thiab Kaus Mos Niv Nplog tab tom txhib koos thav tua Hmoob nyob hav zoo hav tsuag hauv lub teb chaws Nplog. Nplog tus pov tswj txheem teb chaws teeb ib daig hom phiaj cheb Hmoob Cob Fab kom tu noob. Thaum daim phiaj no hnov tag, Harrison Jack txawm pib lub luag hauj lwm ntawm ib tsab xov tooj.
Jack, nyob lub zos Woodland thiab yog ib tug tub rog Nyab Laj, txawm ntaus xov tooj mus rau ib yawg tswj txheem teb chaws muag riam phom nyob Arizona uas yog ib lub tswv yim ntawm ib pab txiv neej nyob xeev California yog leej twg muaj lub zim muag yuav mus txeev Nplog.
Qhov foob liam pab txij neej zaum no khaws tseg yog tsheej puas npooj ntawv pov thawj teev tseg los ntawm tseem fwv ib tug moj zeej (agent) twb teev tseg tag rau hauv Mes Kas lub tsev txiav txim nyob Sacramento, uas yog tom Jack thiab10 tus txiv neej tab tom mag kaws, uas lawv ua txhawm txoj cai ntawm “Neutrality Act” hauv teb chaws As Mes Kas.
Tas lawv 11 tug txiv neej tseem kaw tod lee lawv tsis tau txhaum cai. Tseem fwv pawg tuav kev cai hais tias tej zaum yuav tsis yog Jack cia li hnov ob peb lo lus tham qhia nws txog Nplog yuav muab Hmoob sawb lawj kom tag xwb es nws txawm siv yov yuav 500 tawm rab AK-47 lawm. Jack 60 xyoo, yog ib tug tub kawm tag qib siab tom Wet Point lub tsev kawm ntawv uas kawm txog fab kev ua tsov ua rog, nws muaj txuj ci thaum kob rog Nyaj Laj, thiab tau pab Hmoob los lawm ntev, pab Nais phoo Vaj Pov los lawm uas yog leej twg tseem muaj lub zim muag ib hnub twg yuav mus tig Nplog khiav ywj pheej.
Tsam no yawg Jack no tsab xov tooj, yog ib thooj hlwb tob xeeb txob rau tom Phoenix office of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Ntaub ntawv teev cia hauv tsev txiav txim txij thaum ntawd los thiaj kos ua duab zoo ceeb tseem fwv tus moj zeej ces nws thiaj pib ua hauj lwm qab rooj soj pab txiv neej no. Jack cov lus nkawv sib tham hauv ATF nws thiaj muab xa los rau tseem fwv lub chaws soj ntsuam tom Sacramento. Thaum 1 hlis, tus moj zeej ntawm ATF txawm pib nyiag xwj thiab kaws Jack nkawv tej lus sib tham. Nws hais li no “Kuv nrhiav tau koj qhov teeb meem lawm.” “Teeb meem dab tsi,” Jack nug. “Qhov teeb meem uas koj tau sib tham nrog yawg muag riam phom nas.”
Dhau nov los, tseem fwv tus moj zeej no taug txoj lw no mus tau 4 lub hlis, uas nws kuj yuav yog ib tug muag cov riam phom thiab txhawb tes hauj lwm no rau Vaj Pov lawv pawg, cov ntaub ntawv koos los li no. Ua ke ib qho kev sib tham xov tooj thiab sib ntsib thaum lub 1 hlis txog ntua lub 5 hlis, txhua yam muab kaw tseg thiab thaij ua duab tseg tag. Txhua lub sij hawm thaum tseem fwm tus moj zeej dhia num qab rooj no nrog Vaj Pov lawv pab txiv neej uas yov xav yuav riam phom mus rau Thaib thiab Nplog teb nws pom lawv daim phiaj khav heev.
Qhov kev sib ntsib zaum kawg yog 2 teev nkaus sib tham hmo 5 hlis ntuj tim 23 hauv zos Sacramento. Jack pab phooj ywg thiab tseem fwv tus moj zeej kuj yog ua nyuab kawg nkaus rau Jack. Lub tswv yim uas Jack thiab nws cov phooj ywg ua rau nws, yawg Jack no yuav tau sib zog xav thiab xav kom nrov nrov hais tias ua li tseem fwv tus moj zeej no puas yuav ua tau tiag.
Dhau qhov kev nyuab siab no, Jack tau kom yawg moj zeej no muab tus nqi txos li 5 feem puas luv, ces thiaj yog $9.8 million thiab yawg moj zeej no txawm pom zoo. Twb yog li ntawm los yawg moj zeej no tseem cog lus tseg thiab. Nws hais, “cia kuv qhia koj ua ntej, kuv yuav txos 5 feem puas, tab sis kuv xam cog lus tseg tias cia kuv mus nrog lawv rau tim Nplog mus qhia lawv siv cov riam phom kev ua rog no kom lawv thiaj txawj khiav.”
Tus moj zeej no txawj ntse txog nws txoj hauj lwm yog 7 xyoo ntawm ATF. Ua ntej ntawm nws ua hauj lwm tau 10 xyoo rau SEALs, uas yog tuav feem tub rog nkoj deg. Thaum yov luag kawg, yawg moj zeej no thiaj txhib kom Jack thiab Lo Cha Thao nrog Vaj Pov tham kom muab seb cov riam phom yog dab tsi thiab dab tsi tseeb tseeb thiab seb yuav xa rau hnub twg kiag. Tab sis Lo Cha, tsis maj, nws hais tias nws xav to seb nws cov nav xwj tim Nplog hais li cas los ua ntej tso. Thaum thawj thawj zaug yawg moj zeej thiab Jack nkawv sib ntsib yog tham txog seb, Vaj Pov yov xav tau cov AK-47 yog li cas tiag.
Saum toj no yog tham txog kev cov ntaub ntawv teev tseg hais li cas los mus li cas. Qhov txua ntxiv rau twb muaj qhov tseeb twb yog khaws tseg tag. Teeb meem loj, tseem fwv cov moj zeej twb yog siv txuj ci tob los tuav kom meej meej. Tej zaum kuj yog tseeb ib sab yog tsim kom muaj teeb meem hais. Ua li cas twb yog ntsiab lus uas yuav coj los sib do.
Leej twg twb tsis xav ntseeg leej twg. Jack, Vaj Pov, thiab tseem fwv cov moj zeej, xyov leej twg daim hom phiaj nyob qhov twg tiag. Ib tug As Mes Kas yuav coj Hmoob mus nyob nyab xeeb lug li lawv txoj kev npau suav xyov puas tseeb los nws xum nraug plaub ntug loj tsuav Hmoob ntsib txoj kev iab siab mus tas tiam.
Thaum lub 5 hlis tim 16 txog 20, 2007 nyob Bangkok, Thaib teb UN lis ntaub ntawv txij rau ze 600 tawm leej Hmoob thoj nam tawg rog mus rau teb chaws Australia. Sai kawg thaum lawv yuav sawv kev Thaib txwv kiag kom txhob xa ib tug Hmoob tawm teb chaws. Yeej tsis muaj leej twg yuav twv raug hlo. Hmoob txhua tus uas yog cov neeg thoj nam tsis paub xav tag, zaum no xyov yuav ciaj los yuav tuag. Pob Tsuas Vaj xa xov hauv xov tooj tuaj, tam sis no peb ces kawg raug xa rov mus rau hauv Nplog thiab tuag yog qhov ntau. Tsis txaus ntseeg li, ib co twb sawv kev hnub no kiag lawm los raug theem tag nrho." Poj niam me nyuam nyias zaum nyias ntxhov siab tsu. 22 leeg Hmoob tos ya nyab hoom mus rau Netherland, uas yog pab 153 leeg raug txim nyob noom qhais txoj kev twb tws tag tib si ua ke tib lub caij no.
T seeb lawm hais tias txhua yam mas niam kis toj kis pes rau Hmoob sib sau rau tib lub caij no. Cov tub zaum rooj ntawv tom Madison, xaiv twj ywm, tis ib lub tsev kawm ntawv ua Vaj Pov npes, yov luag txhua tus As Mes Kas twb sawv tuaj cam tsis pom zoo kom tis nws npe. Hais tsw quav tshaj plaws yog yawg xiv fwb qhia ntawm Alfred McCoy tom UW-Madison lub zog hauv nws phau ntawv dig Vaj Pov cov dab neeg thaum tseem nyob hauv lub teb chaws Nplog txheej thaud. Alfred McCoy, teev tseg tias Vaj Pov muaj dab neeg ua luam yeeb dub, tua nws cov tub rog, thiab yuav poj niam coob li coob. Tej yam phem phem no twb yog txhua tus Mes Kas mas niam tsis xav kom tis Vaj Pov npes rau lub tsev kawm ntawv tsam ces yuav los ua ib tug qauv tsis zoo rau txhua txhua tus tub kawm hauv. Zoo nkaus li niam yog ib qhov"Txhiaj Txhais (puzzle)" leej twg los yuav tau twv thaum sij hawm tseem ceeb ntawm dab tsi yuav dhau mus ua ib zag dab neeg tseg.
Daim phiaj loj yog lwm haiv neeg ntsia Hmoob thiab sib zog hais yam tsis zoo thaum yog caij nyoog hais. Daim phiaj me, hauv Hmoob lub zej zos twb pom leeg tuaj ib sab rov sib tham rau lawv hnov thiab ntshai tsam Vaj Pov zaj dab neeg ho los plee qias nws. Tus hais li cas twb muaj. Yog caij sib cav sib tham tas zog. Sacramento Bee daim ntawm xov xwm sau tis npe loj loj "Vaj Pov qhov teeb meem pab tuam ib tug choj rau Hmoob cov laus - hluas sib faib." Leej twg yog Hmoob pom twb tus siab twj ywm. Xyoo no cas sub yov nhyav tas npaum rau Hmoob, tsis hais cov lawb dab - cov tseem coj kev cai dab quas.

Laus Thiab Hluas Tsis Deb Hmoob

Tus Sau: Tsu Yaj, Neeg Magazine - June 14, 2007 - Tig los txog ib lub sij hawm tsis zoo rau Hmoob. Teeb meem deeg nkaws lawv siab, tsaus nti ib tog ntuj los. Vaj Pov yog daim duab, uas nws tab tom raug ntes nyob California, tub soj xwm, sau tau 100 nplooj ntawv tham hais tias nws thiab 9 leej Hmoob nrog ib ib tug As Mes Kas, npaj yov yuav ib co nriam phom ua tsov ua rog mus ntxeev Nplog Liab. Daim duab no deeg nkaws txhua tus Hmoob lub plawv.
Qab teb qaum teb pom zej zog tuaj kwv ntawv txhawb Vaj Pov, taug kev mus mus los los ntawm tej xeev lub tsev txim 2 hnug dhau los. Kws txiav txim tom California, tsis tso Vaj Pao tawm mam hais (xiab nyiaj). Hais tag mam tso nws hais rau xov xwm hnov toob plaws.
Thaum Vaj Pov nraug ntes los no xwb, Thaib thiab Nplog quab yuam xa cov neeg toj nam nyob Thaib teb rov qab coob dua ntais yog pab 163 leeg. A century of Human Suffering
Neeg Magazine - June 3, 2007- Snyu Yansvan
After the Vietnam conflict in Laos more than half a million people were
torn. One major impact to this human suffering was during the long journey across the Mekong River into Thailand. With 80 percent of the Lao Hmong who journeyed by foot across the deep jungles experienced Post Traumatic Syndromes. Family members, children, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters face traumatic events along the way. Almost every men and women who made it to Thailand and eventually resettled in a third world country has a story to tell. Here is just a story of Chou Lee who resides in Appleton, WI. My father held my hand, carried a full back basket, and walked through the dark journey to Thailand. We were lucky to be alive. God had blessed us. Along our journey in the jungles, we saw dead human bodies laying full in an open field. Some have already died, others were beginning to rot, while others were still bleeding waiting to die. In this full field of dead bodies, a child about two years old sat next to his mother who already passed away a few days ago. The child was still feeding from the nurture of his mom’s breast. He was scared but couldn’t cry no longer. We were traveling with many others from my father’s family and we couldn’t take in another person as it would mean more liability and risk. We passed the boy and left him to stay with his dead mother. I took one last look at the boy. He was very thin with brown eyes and black hair. He sat and holding his mom, he love his mom and won‘t let go of her. I saw his eye open and signal goodbye to us. This is a lifetime of memory of a deep heart felt to have let go of the little boy deep in the jungles. How scary he will be? It is one of greatest memory that has stayed in my heart; a memory I can never let go. The shadow of the little boy holding on to his mom is paint in my heart. I have never let go of this little boy. He is a lovely Hmong boy, no different than I. He spoke the same language as I and could have been a brother of mine. All I can prey is peaces and I still love you.
Chou Lee and his family journeyed to Thailand from Northern Laos to camp Nam Yao, Thailand. The road he stepped through met no big river. Only in the middle and the south part of the country, the Lao Hmong people had to cross the Mekong River. According to Thai document, human bodies were trapped in the dams along the river. About forty to sixty bodies were reported each day. Earlier through this expedition the Thai guards were able to pull the bodies and bury them. It came a time when there were too many bodies that the Thai guards burned the bodies once pulled from the dam. These bodies included men, women, children, and the elderly. This happened as a result of a journey taken to find freedom and escape persecution, killing, and punishment. It has been a great hardship in a lost of Hmong people’s lives throughout history. The Mekong River still remains to this day. It still comes alive in the story cloths of Hmong women who are passionate about needle work and sew the story of these traumatic events through their hardworking hands.

Hundreds of thousands of men, women, elderly, and children were forced to die while fleeing the country. Some became trapped because of landmines, some were trapped by Laotian soldiers’ bullets, while many others died because of starvation and illnesses. A century of human suffering, made the Hmong story cloth a popular art everyone must claim for a collection. Young girls were captured and forced as sex slaves, raped, tortured, and slaughtered. Men hung from trees and slaughtered like animals. This was truly a time of joy for the hunters of the Hmong who made them suffer as victims. For over thirty years, the Hmong experienced hardships and inhumane treatment. The Hmong sided with the Americans caring off the supply line along the Ho Chi Min Trail during the Vietnam War. This conflict paints the Laotian government’s mind hard for the people to believe. Most minority groups in Laos face hardships, including the Hmong, Yao, Kha Mum, Lao Ther, and other small minority groups.

The Mekong River
One piece of bamboo saved hundreds of thousands of Hmong lives. Other pieces were too little and could not saved everyone who crossed the Mekong River. Hundreds of thousands of bodies fell into the bottom. According to the Thai guards, there were about 40-60 bodies pulled from the river on a daily basis from 1975-1985. Most of the bodies pulled were children and elderly. According to most of the Hmong family who made it to the refugee camps most had lost at least one member of their family. This event has contributed to the Hmong population and yet it seems that no one is interested to learn about their story. It has been a century of suffering painted deep in every Hmong heart and mind. It is a syndrome in which has been built in the hearts of most elderly parents in. The Mekong River divided and broadened Hmong lives.

Refugee Camp in Thailand
Life in a refugee camp not only affected Hmong but also other Lao citizens, Cambodians, Vietnamese and other minority groups. People living in the refugee camps lived through many hardships. Many children were seen laid idle with hunger and illnesses. People living in refugee camps were oppressed people. A Hmong man who had the title of “captain” stated “I was face shout among women, children, and the whole group. I must follow orders or face terrible consequences such as beating and kicking by the Thai guards. I only had one minute to go to the bathroom on the side of roads. Life was a great suffer. I wondered where freedom is.
In the camps each family was provided shelter in a hot humid and moldy buildings. When the weather became hot, the condition in these shelters were unbearable. There was no privacy, no real home, and no peace. Children became ill on a daily basis with multiple sicknesses such as chicken pox, diarrhea, and others. Death became a regular known thing in the camps as it occurred daily. Because conditions in the camps were terrible, people took advantage of each other, especially the camp leaders, guards, and refugee leaders. It seemed that there were no order to life; no structure to raise children. Children at the camps grew up in an influx of taking advantage of each other. A refugee doesn’t have tomorrow to live for as life seemed endless. They lived day by day without thinking much about the future. Schools and hospitals were made available by the United Nation. Born as a refugee, one must be hushed. People who experienced life as an refugee seemed to be confused with structure. They must live through the image of being controlled, taking advantage of, and must suffer to survive. With much pressure and unstable living, traumatic stress builds in their minds and affects their daily functioning. Those who suffered through such traumatic stress can’t seem to pull themselves from the events. It is a permanent stressor in their lives.

Third World Country
Moving and living in a different country is difficult for refugees to adjust. A refugee’s life can never be defined to put into words. From what’s lost living as a refugee from life can never be replaced or found; however, with time they have found a way to adjust and release much of what they have gone through. It can never be completely forgotten. They begin to release much of how they were persecuted, how many of the people they knew were killed, and much of the isolation they have been through. Many of those who are the first generation to come to a third world must relearn a new system. Those of the second generation have more of a chance to adjust and grasp the new system of living in a different country.
Many refugees are diagnosed with some sort of mental health issue or have some sort of physical health issue. Although, they are physically free, they still struggle as they are “reborn” and starting over again in a new life. The new life is much better than those forced to return to the home country and faced persecution. Those who were returned were never heard from again. They faced a silent disappearance. Vue Mai is an example of one person who was return Laos and silently disappeared.

Deep in The Jungle
Over three decades the Hmong refugee continue face challenges in their
lives. Many of them settled in refugee camps and resettled in a third world country. Left behind are hundreds of thousands trapped deep in the jungles of Laos. This group faces one of the most post traumatic event ever in human time. To begin with some of the deadly warfare that
destroyed human lives was the “Yellow Rain.” Yellow Rain contributed by the Soviet Union and feed by the Laotian government. It was a warfare biological chemical in which not just wiped out the Hmong in the jungle but continues to affect both wild animal and natures in Laos. During this event, many Hmong children had diarrhea, bled, and “melt” alive to die. Besides Yellow Rain, machine guns, and landmines were heavy prison to the Hmong in the jungles. This was the last event that affects the Hmong silently in Laos. Starvation and disease were other tools defining a century of human suffering. An accurate number of lost have not been counted and no one is held accountable for it. It is a continued pain in the hearts of every Hmong man and women and they will continue to state for record base on individual collected information from families and the community members. As of today, many Hmong students and educators can’t rest because they had been suffering for so long. This post traumatic event had become Khaisou Phovihan’s biggest event known as the “Ethnic Cleaning” in Laos. It was his effective strategy to wipe out minorities in Laos after Patheth Lao came to power. All of this event dated from 1975 to the present time. The Hmong community continues to suffer and these hurtful dramas affect both the victims those who are abroad. A century of suffering remain hurtful.

Nong Khai, Thailand
One of the painful drama was the 153 Hmong refugees who are now facing deportation and are detained in Nong Khai, Thailand. Among the men from this group are those who died left over in the jungle of Laos and they are now seeking for life with the United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees in Thailand. Every Hmong abroad and including the 153 are praying for their safety. With the fact that the Hmong community had never had a country and had ever since treated poorly from any country that they had associated to. All the Hmong urge the Thai government including the King of Thailand to save this group of people. They had faced hardships in their lives and came to Thailand for life not for economic reasons. Their case had been defined through the UN’s officials and they are “people of concern.” Among the efforts of the Thai government and it majesty the King with the world wide nation viewing them a group of concern. However, this group of people are in Thailand and your majesty please help save them.

With the return of this group back to Laos, every single men will face
death. The Laotian government and authorities target them because they are "people of conern". This group of people are not terrorists to any nation government but fought for their lives and freedom. Born to be a human but why must they have to face hardships in life? With whose force was it from the beginning? KaMai Yang, a detainee in Nong Khai stated, "A child who has not even been born already faces jail and puhniment. Children are human beings and yet are force to stay in the detention. Men and women who have suffered for over three decades and continue to face force. We need the world to view us as equal human beings and view that we are no terrorists to the country of Laos but only defined by our allies and give our lives to them by a law that suffers human lives [our lives]."

Hunting in Northeast Wisconsin Have an affect Creak-down on Minority (Hmong)

February 15, 2007 --- One case found guilty and many more fall in the path, if the scene is right. “The case has drawn comparisons to the prosecution of Chai Vang, a St. Paul hunter who killed six other hunters in Sawyer county in November 2004 after a property dispute that was preceded by an argument Vang said included racial slurs” (Dan Wilson of Appleton Post-Crescent). The Hmong people came to the United States for a reason. A reason in which is equal to the lost of 65,000 American soldiers killed in Vietnam and 35,000 Hmong who died during the conflict in Laos with the CIA operation to back up Ho-Chi Min Trail. This dwarf community human being exists in America land because of the lost (Hmong and American lost the war to the communist). Many of them came to America and spread throughout the country. Some thousands found their home in Northeast Wisconsin. They experienced hunting in their home country and some still are interested to hunt here in America, especially in Northeast Wisconsin. Some of the common law may or may not fully establish their confidence. The nature of private land and public land play a significant conflict on them. The color of their skin and their fellow Americans may see hostility at each other when conflicts occur, especially in the woods with weapons on hand. This sits in the minds of groups with racial slurs appearing. A confrontation with disappointment while words exchange in the scene of the incident were not friendly to both sides but in the court of law, one side seemed to have re-run their tone. Who side was re-structure appeared to be the favor and friend to the law and the people who run the law. Whatever side, if the tone play the same speech more often felt to the losing.
Mr. Lor was one of the cases that fell in the path, if the scene is right. On September 23, 2006 in the Town of Liberty, Mr. Lor was hunting on land owned by the Tigerton Lumber Co. He later found conflicts with the land owner of an adjacent parcel and ordered him out of the area, claiming he didn’t want him hunting in an area surrounding by residential properties. The scene is right and Mr. Lor appeared to have seemed to disobey the law by pointing his .22-caliber rifle at the man’s legs. Whether or not it snapped the bolt but printed in the media’s eyes.
A group of minority, once lived in America found themselves an impact of negative image. Chai Vang’s case clearly had an impact with the Hmong here at Northeast Wisconsin especially hunting season. Facing the law that existed hundreds of years ago, a particular conflict, the action was interpreted favorable to the owner of resident than the new comer. In any existing conflict regarding racial profiling in the course of law, the court, the law, and the people of that stated denied play at the scene. Racial discrimination against minority group is a sensitive issue and almost every time it’s totally denied. The actual incident played a great significant part of racial profiling however the issue is almost impossible to prove. It had been a hobby of give away and walk away. However, it affected an individual who confronted the conflict for a lifetime of the event. History had proved the King’s Case in California racial discrimination against black but appeared to be physical and measurable. Racial discrimination existed in the minds of someone seemed diagnoses inaccurate. Read scenario case from minority experience here: An Officer License plate 50 in the city of Oshkosh, sat on the corner of Scott Street and Jackson Ave. A popular area found to be high poverty and high crime neighborhood. One day an Asian drove west of Scott street toward the officer and made a right turn at the corner of Jackson Ave. The officer pulled right away and followed the driver to New York Street. The driver didn’t make a signal to turn left at New York Street at the light when it changed to red. The officer was behind the driver, waited until the light changed to green, the driver turned on his signal and turned left. The officer drove straight on Jackson Ave. Up to this point, the Asian driver didn’t notice that the officer is checking on him. He kept on driving to the intersection of Algoma and State HWY 21, the officer was there and waiting on the near side of the street. Soon the Asian driver past the intersection light, the officer pulled himself ahead of traffic and followed right behind the poor Asian driver all the way to the far side of Oshkosh at the intersection of HWY 21 and County H. The poor Asian driver drove with himself and the officer found hard evident to pull him over. The officer decided to make his left turn and circle back to his area. It was on Sunday morning and the poor Asian driver got himself duties on the day to be on his way to work. Someone educated in this earth decided the case scenario in mind and hard physical racial discrimination on minority.
Sernorial II: The same poor Asian driver drove himself in the same neighborhood of north Oshkosh. He was on his way to sell in a Flea Market in Appleton, Wisconsin. He drove behind two white drivers heading north on Jackson Ave. They were speeding at 35 miles per hour. The two white drivers able to escape the officer but the poor Asian couldn’t and received a warning for speeding on the day.
Scenario III: the Same poor Asian driver drove himself in the middle of the night on October 9, 2005. He was driving on Appleton Rd also known as HWY 47 heading north toward Appleton on a speech zone of 25 miles per hour and he was driving on 30 miles per hour for the night. Officer Albrecht drove on Ninth Street, a block before the two were met. The officer happened to come from a direction that the light at the intersection of Ninth Street and Appleton Rd were blinked red and the poor Asian driver’s direction happened to be blink yellow. He has the right of way and past the intersection, a very dark night with cloudy and at the intersection the officer was assumed able to view the driver across identify Asian race. The officer then followed him for a mile north and decided to pull him over. After issuing a citation the officer wrote his report stating that “the driver driving in the night not knowing what direction he is driving.” The evident is very strong and professional according to Judge CW at Neenah municipal court. The poor Asian driver finally got his citation in the middle of the night on October 9, 2005 in Wisconsin for his record.
It had been racism in America history and it played both physically and deep in the minds of someone and most professions. The Hmong community came to this country for a short history and seemed to overcome their greatest depression in the law. Are they, really a group of people who disobey the law or the people run the law structured too strong on them?
I am a graduate student at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in my last semester in counseling and I had met myself a hardship in America. I wish my shoes fit someone else shoes so they will able to taste the hardship for minority.
